Medical Interview
MMIs are called Multiple Mini Interviews. They are preferred by medical schools because they are easy to set up and require little preparation for the examiners (for example the examiners will not have read your personal statement). It means you will be asked one or two questions by a variety of different examiners at different stations as you rotate around the room. It is good because if you mess up one section you can move on and the new examiner won't know what happened. Plus you can repeat stories about your work experience. It is also important to note that for MMIs the examiner will not have read your personal statement! However, the downside is it can be harder to build rapport with a range of different examiners.
